We have been harvesting since the end of August, processing the incoming grapes takes up most of the time of our cellar team. We could say that they are thinking of nothing but the harvest day in and day out. To make sure the office colleagues don’t miss this special period of the year, we came up with an idea last year: to join the harvest for a day. We are not only building the team, but also participating in each step of the process: picking grapes, selecting bunches, washing crates and some of us even tried our hand at manual punching down. We must say, our head winemaker Sándor Mérész was satisfied with our work, and suggested that we organize more days like this, because all hands are needed on deck.
